49386202._SY475_I came to Walker Ranch hoping to heal my tattered heart and bruised soul. To find a quiet place to pick up the scattered pieces of my life.
Instead… I found him.
With his dark hair and piercing blue eyes, Bradley set my pulse on fire with a single glance. Unable to resist the magnetic chemistry between us, we give in to temptation and lose ourselves in our passionate connection.
As we become closer, I realize he’s just as broken as I am. Both of us haunted by our pasts. But it’s the demons of mine that push to the surface and threaten to destroy our newfound happiness.

Can I find a way to piece both of our hearts back together? Or will what’s left of mine be shattered beyond repair?

**Cait Sidhe’s Review of Make Me Whole**

Typically, I prefer reading (and reviewing) paranormal or historical romance. That’s really my happy place when it comes to romance. I don’t venture too far outside this little box. Why would I? I know what I like and I like what I like! BUT…A.K. MacBride is an author I will always say yes to! Having read her Willow Creek series, I was looking forward to all the feels again and she didn’t disappoint.

Make Me Whole is a “fairly” clean second chance romance. I say fairly because there is still plenty of heat and naughty thoughts. The chemistry between Hailey and Bradley smolders.

When his fingers closed around mine, I swear, time stood still. His piercing blue stare found mine, stealing the breath from my lungs.

Bradley has a…erm…hard time keeping his thoughts in line whenever Hailey is around! The feeling is mutual, even though they don’t initially know it. It’s refreshing that, aside from really hot kissing, the rest is implied and not explicitly shown. As a reader, I prefer not to have ever little detail spelled out for me. I like to leave something for the imagination and the author does just that. She creates characters with such innate magnetism that it’s hard not to hold your breath while reading.

A.K. MacBride takes beautifully broken people who are running from their past or even themselves, and love offers them hope. That’s what is so lovely about her stories. It’s not the romance—though she definitely fans the flames; It’s that two people can find one another and start to heal scars on their hearts and hurts of which they didn’t even know the true depth. Her stories are soul shattering and yet still uplifting!

I give Make Me Whole 4.5 propellers! A.K. MacBride has already introduced us to other characters that I really hope get to tell their own story: Montana Dudes has roped me in!

About the Author

Author of romances that leave you with ALL the feels.

She likes her coffee big and strong and her chocolate sinfully dark.
Living in a small town in South Africa, she’s afforded the luxury of being surrounded by mountains and waking up to birds singing their morning songs.
In addition to her coffee and chocolate obsession, she can’t say no to cheesecake or pastry.
When she is not creating emotional reads that tug on heartstrings, she’s busy being a wife to her best friend and a mom to a sassy little girl (whom she wouldn’t want any other way).

She just so happens to love stalkers, so don’t be shy and get your stalk on.
