Fly Girl’s Review:

So I have to say this one was intriguing for me.  I’m not one for haunting tales, but it is Alyssa Drake and you all know how much I love her work, so I had to check it out.  BTW, I’ve got a few more of hers on my TBR pile.  I wasn’t disappointed.

This is a short story that takes maybe 30m-1hr to read.  I kind of liked that.  Especially when there isn’t any romance story to tell.  She starts it right off with a devastated heart and a little synopsis of how much they loved eachother.  Heart break can make you see and do strange things, and boy does she.  Now granted maybe it’s true her true love came back to haunt her, but really why would your true love want to make you crazy???

That’s all I’m going to tell you.  However this is for mature audiences.  There is sex and language and a little gore.  I really liked the story but had to give it a 4 of 5 propellers because in the last scene when the Head Dr. comes in it is a little clunky and I’m not sure why he’s there at all.  But for those who love a great mystery and little horror with their witches brew, pick up this anthology if the others are half as good as Alyssa in storytelling, the 99 cents will be well worth it.
