So… a bit about me.  I’m a wife to a now retired Air Force Airman.  We have 3 kids who keep us on our toes all the time.  About to venture into the abyss of parenting a teen.  I’ve been a nurse for 20 years this July which really makes me feel old to say that.  I’ve done a lot in my career but the Neonatal ICU (NICU) keeps drawing me back so I’d say that’s my passion.  I also work as a school nurse a few days a month which really is fun and quite entertaining as well.  We live in the deep south once again (both my husband and I were born and raised here).  I’m a home grown Georgia Peach who loves my family, God, guns and cowgirl boots!  However, this new country music isn’t my thing and my taste in music is quite eclectic.

As far as reading, I’ve been an avid reader since I can remember.  When I was in elementary school I remember telling my parents I still needed a night light because I was afraid of the dark.  But in reality, I’d sneak the night light into my bed and read long after my bedtime!  I was the nerd in high school who never minded the summer required readings and critiques.  Sometime in my middle school years I was introduced to romance and of course still love that genre today.  I actually prefer romantic suspense.  About 3 years ago I had surgery and was not able to walk for 12 weeks so I spent a lot of time getting acquainted with my Kindle and discovered some indie authors I thought were quite promising.  A few I’m truly fans of today.  While romance and romantic suspense are my favorites, like in music I’ll try anything once so my reviews might be a true mix of many genres.  This is my first jump into book reviewing and blogging so please be patient, gracious and diplomatic!
