Title: Written for You

Author: Robin Bielman

Genre: Contemporary Romance

About Written for You:

Cam Radcliffe is on a deadline to write his next blockbuster action film, but all he can think about lately is writing romance. The inspiration? His best friend, Reese.

They’ve known each other for years, but suddenly working in the same office has given him a whole new appreciation of her. Reese is driving him wild in the best possible way, and Cam only hopes it isn’t obvious. If she knew, he’s certain their friendship would reach The End.

So, of course, Reese figures it out. But the awkward, negative response he expected is nothing like the reality—like they’re living their own rom-com.

A rom-com that’s giving him the worst case of writer’s block at the absolute worst time in his career. Especially when the secret Reese has been forced to keep comes out…and threatens to ruin everything.

NICUnurse’s Review of Written for You by Robin Bielman

Robin Bielman is a new-to-me author, but I’m always willing to give someone a try. I’ve found some of my top favorite authors by being open to authors I’ve never read before. Written for You is an opposites-attract, friends-to-lovers, small-town rom-com. If you’re not a fan of a slow-burn buildup, you probably won’t love this story.

Cam and Reese have been BFFs for years. Their families have been super tight-knit pretty much their entire lives, and even though Reese is close to all three Radcliffe siblings, she and Cam have always had the most inseparable relationship of all of them. While no one is surprised when these two finally give in to their quickly growing attraction, everyone is a bit prickly about it because of what it could do to both families if it doesn’t end well. Except for Mrs. Radcliffe, and she’s the most perfect godmother ever! I totally loved her and want her in my own life!

I’m a huge fan of the saying that family isn’t always blood, and Cam and Reese’s families absolutely embody this sentiment. I truly enjoyed the Radcliffe family dynamic as well as the dynamic between both families. All in all, this is a sweet, feel-good romance that isn’t too heavy on angst. There are some challenges, but nothing I’d consider genuinely angsty. The secondary characters of Cam’s brothers were quite intriguing, and I do hope we get their stories one day, as well.

NICUnurse’s Rating: I give Written for You by Robin Bielman 4 out of 5 propellers!
