NICUnurse’s Review of Tempt Thy Neighbor
Tempt Thy Neighbor is the fourth book in Teagan Hunter’s Roommate Romps series. All of the books are be standalone titles that center around residents of the same apartment community. You can read this one by itself, but as a series junkie and a serious Teagan Hunter fan, I recommend reading all of them to get the absolute best experience, especially since this story focuses on Holland, Dean’s sister (from Loathe Thy Neighbor).
Life circumstances drive Holland and Sutton into becoming temporary roommates. Both of them have finally stood up for themselves and are attempting to move out of their parents’ shadows. They hate each other as they have both been hurt by their shared past. But when work has them together in close proximity, and they become unlikely roommates on top of that, what do you get? A wonderful enemies-to-lovers, second-chance story, of course!
While this book has snappy one-liners and expected snark from Teagan Hunter, Holland and Sutton’s story is also very emotional. These two have some serious trust issues and huge misunderstandings from their past with each other to overcome in order to have a beautiful future. It’s a book full of angst and chemistry between our main characters…as well as the steamy scenes to go along with it. Despite the angst, at its heart, this is a heartfelt and heartwarming story of growth and forgiveness. The road to redemption for these two is rocky and rough, though.
I’ve been a fan of Teagan Hunter for quite some time. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again (probably over and over); if you’re looking for great storylines, steamy scenes, tons of snark, and some comedic relief tossed in for good measure, it’s really, really hard to go wrong with a book by her.
NICUnurse’s Rating: I give Crave Thy Neighbor by Teagan Hunter 5 out of 5 propellers!
