As a web designer, performing updates so I can enhance my texts with cute new emojis is a must. Only artificial intelligence went all Terminator on me, resending every message from the past year. So glad I got to relive my tumultuous online dating experiences, including drunk texting an ex who ghosted me.
Among the disgruntled are a handful of nice replies, leaving me unsure if the tech gods are smiting or smiling down on me. Especially when a dude with a new number replies—Luke’s witty, makes me LOL, and gives great advice regarding my client who keeps sending snarky emails. As I begin re-dating guys from my past, Luke demands updates. With him quickly hacking his way into my heart, I’m afraid I’m falling for the wrong guy. But when true identities are revealed, it becomes that much harder to convince the adrenaline junkie that love is the greatest adventure of all.

NICUnurse’s Review of Love’s A Glitch by Cindi Madsen
I’ve been a fan of Cindi Madsen’s writing for quite some time. She consistently gives her readers great characters who have great stories, and she tells them with just the right amount of humor (and snarky humor—my favorite—at that!) and emotion. Love’s a Glitch is the second book in her Meet-Cute series, but all of the books are written as stand-alone titles. That said, I do highly recommend Big Dick Energy (book 1) as well.
I really enjoyed watching Ellie and Luke’s relationship grow. And I loved the growth that Ellie showed as the story evolved. Some reviewers have felt like she forgave Luke too easily, but I felt like that stayed true to her personality and how much she grew throughout the story. She’s a giving, caring, loyal person with a big, squishy heart for those in her inner circle. And I loved how Luke was able to get her out of her comfort zone. We all need someone in our lives that challenges us to tackle our fears. Suffice it to say, I loved these two and their journey to their HEA.
Love’s a Glitch is chocked full of sarcastic humor (some seriously lol moments, especially with the technology), great banter among the characters, a timely and relevant plot, and lots of chemistry between the main characters. If you’re looking for a book that’s heavy on humor and light on angst but still has an emotional element to it, this is the one for you.
