NICUnurse’s Review of Fool for You by Kelly Elliot

I read my first Kelly Elliot book, Wanted, years ago and fell in love with her writing, characters, and stories in that series long before I was a book reviewer or blogger. At some point, I kind of lost track of her new books but somehow found my way back to her with the Meet Me in Montana series. Fool for You is book seven in her Southern Bride series, but it can be read as a complete standalone. All of them can be read as stand-alone titles. This is only the third book in that series that I’ve read, and I skipped around a lot. I’ve never been lost with the characters or with the plots of any book, either. Kelly Elliot consistently delivers romance with heart, characters you can’t help but love, and plenty of moments that will make you smile.

Fool for You is a friends-to-lovers romance that’s low on angst, high on entertainment value, has some hilariously laugh-out-loud moments, and some moments that will make you swoon. I read this book from beginning to end in just a matter of hours, so to say I had a hard time putting it down would be an understatement. There are times I love a good rom-com and times I love a good angsty romance. But sometimes, I just want a perfect swoony romance. And this book totally delivered on that.
