I’m Kim, born in the time of Gemini, a fifth-generation decedent of the Wilders of Santa Cruz. In the spirit of adventure, and then some, I moved to Australia in 1981 and have lived here ever since.

I write Speculative Fiction – Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Science Fantasy and Urban Fantasy, – under my birth name Kim Falconer.

The pen name A. K. Wilder is for my Young Adult books, a name chosen to honor my roots, remember the original custodians of Santa Cruz – the Awaswas people – and acknowledge the collaboration with my son who has helped bring these books to life.

I have a Masters degree in writing from Swinburne University in Melbourne and, being an astrologer like my father before me, I run an open forum for discussion of astrology and the Law of Attraction.

I live near the sea* with my son, grand-kids and two divinely spotted cats.
