FLY GIRL WILL BE GIVING US THE LOWDOWN ON THIS AT THE END OF THE WEEK, SO STAY TUNED…
Another day, another step closer to Hell on Earth being unleashed.
With every piece that falls into place for the queen of the Underworld, Kymaris gains strength and power that will make it more difficult to defeat her when the time comes. It feels as if we’re in a desperate race to get just one step ahead of her, but my demise feels closer than it ever has before with still so much to do.
The first order of business is to unlock the angelic powers with which I was gifted at birth, and Carrick insists on getting help from my archnemesis to do so. Yes, I have to save the world, but my priority has now become rescuing my sister from the Underworld. While there are many questions still to be answered about my long-lost twin, I know I will not win this battle without her by my side.
In the midst of all the doom and gloom, Carrick has become my beacon of shining light. Our connection unimaginable, my heart recognizes his as the other half of its whole. Inexplicable and deeper than one could ever imagine, the love I hold for him is forged by destiny, however ill-fated it may turn out to be.
And those are the feelings I must hold close…to keep me going. Because a painful lesson is on the horizon—betrayal never comes from your enemies.

Fly Girl’s Review:
**SPOILER ALERT** Do not read if you haven’t read the other books.
******************************************************
Sawyer has got us knee deep in war in this one and it is soo good!!! I’m trying not to scream because I have to wait a few more days to get an early copy of the final book. Let me just tell you, the sex is hot, the antagonist is hotter, and the fights are better. I know she is saving the best for the last book, and I’m not sure how it is going to end. The scrappy little band of friends begin to fight back and learn more and more about how Kymaris is planning to open up the Underworld and why. It is not pretty my friends. There is a lot of death involved. But you know, demons don’t care!
Finley and Carrick put all their faith in one another and learn to work harder together and to survive on their own. The Gods are in the middle of everything, just when you need one of the demi-gods, they are taken away to places unknown and the rest of the band has to figure out how to fill the whole on their team. Finley also gets a better look at her sister who’s stuck in the Underworld and keeps trying to convince her she does care. But when a sole has been that mistreated and starved for kindness, it’s hard to convince there is good in the world. Finley is barely holding it together as she realizes she’s going to die again on Carrick and may not save the world as she knows it.
The real surprise has been from Zaid and his father in this book. There is an unlikely pair who by the end show us bad can turn good with enough prodding and motivation. There is a super big cliffhanger on this one so I’m not going to spoil it because it has to do with Zaid’s father and a few other characters. Just know you are going to be so mad at Sawyer that these aren’t publishing all at once. I know the last book won’t let me down, but I really just need to get to the end and see how it all turns out.
What I need from the last one…Do Rainey and Quinn get married finally? Does Zaid find his father and make up? Does Carrick break the curse? Does Finley decide to be immortal? Which Gods are not playing fair? Who created the prophecy? Oh god, and so much more!!! I’m giving this a 4.5 of 5 because of the cliffhanger and because there was a little twist I figured out way to early in this book that she waited until the end to reveal.
So Sawyer, thanks for nothing. I need that last book!!!!
