Evil is coming.

The Evolution of Fae and Gods is book three of the Chronicles of the Stone Veil series and is best enjoyed if read in series order.
Fly Girl’s Review:
**Spoilers**Please don’t read further if you haven’t read the first two books.
This next book is eye opening for all the characters. How they are related, what they are capable of and how their lives are becoming or are intertwined. It takes the story to new levels on the scale of romance and friendship, love and hate. We discover what really happened to Finley’s twin and why she and Carrick are so strongly tied to one another. The side stories fully develop, like how Dark Fae Queen is gathering her devout followers, how Finley’s business is going to develop into more than she imagined, how her friends are more loyal and helpful than imagined, how Carrick lived in many different times, how the Light Fae will not help save the world and finally how deep and abiding Carrick and Finley’s love is.
Carrick and Finley aren’t the only ones to have their stories develop, Finley’s BFFs Miles and Rainey’s relationship takes a more serious note and the ways in which they will help Finley are broader and more challenging in this installment. The Light Fae show just how shallow they really are when asked for help and the Dark Fae look even worse than they did before. The gods interfere more even though they say they can’t and we leave off with a cliff hanger in regards to the Gods interference.
The story is starting to pick up speed so I’m sure we will see more action in the next book as well as more info as to what the prophecy is really about. But truthfully I can’t wait for the next installment. I’m on the edge of my seat now that we really know the characters involved and how they all relate to one another. I’m giving this a 4.5 of 5 because I’m on pins and needles, but there was no real finish to this installment. Keep reading though because I’m sure it’s going to be a whopper of a tail when she gets it finished.
