Lost Without You by Lea Coll is now live!

Avery
Opening a law firm isn’t at all what I thought it would be. The landlord is arrogant and irritating. Despite his sexy voice and smooth demeanor, I want to fight him at every turn. Everything with him is a battle–a battle I intend to win. After all, I’m an attorney who never backs down. But when he needs my help, I can’t possibly refuse. Who could? Thrown into a role he knows nothing about can’t be easy.

Beneath his gruff nature is a broken man who needs to be put back together. The last thing I will ever do is let someone destroy him more.

Griffin
A cheating fiancée and a backstabbing best friend are not the worst of my problems. When my brother dies, I’m thrust into the life of a single parent. In over my head, I’m forced to seek help from the lawyer who fights me every chance she can. Avery Arrington is a smart-mouthed, feisty woman, who can win my case. Powerful, intelligent, and sexy, I want her in ways I’ve sworn off for good.

But right now, it’s all about my nephew. He’s my top priority–the only thing that matters. Now, I have to put all of my faith and hope in Avery to save me—save us. I rarely trust anyone. But the truth is, without Avery, I’d be lost.

NICUnurse’s Review of Lost Without You by Lea Coll

Lost Without You is the second book in Lea Coll’s Annapolis Harbor series. All of the books are written as interconnected stand-alone titles. You can start with this book and not feel lost or left wondering who all of the characters are and how they relate. However, I’m a series junkie, so my default is to recommend starting from book one. And I have truly enjoyed Lea Coll’s writing, so I do recommend reading them both. She’s a fairly new-to-me author, but I’m ever so slowly working my way through her backlist, and I can honestly say I’ve yet to be disappointed in any of her books that I’ve currently read.

NICUnurse’s Rating: Lost Without You follows Avery and Griffin. Avery is our no-nonsense, hard-working attorney heroine whose past is quite heartbreaking. She never received any kind of love from her parents. So, how can you fall in love when you never learned what love actually is? And Griffin is our gruff and misunderstood hero. He’s suffered a tragic loss and is floundering a bit as a single father. He’s been burned badly by love in the past. So, how can you fall in love again when you don’t trust it anymore? The answer to these two questions is a wonderfully serious but life-changing journey. And I quite simply loved their story. If you like slow-burn romances that tackle some big life issues, this book is going to be perfect for you.

I give Lost Without You 5 out of 5 propellers
