NICUnurse’s Review of Scandalous Prince by Rachel Van Dyken

Scandalous Prince is the next book in this author’s Mafia Royals series but all of the books are standalone titles. And they are truly standalone. Rachel always does a fabulous job in all of her series books with giving just enough backstory that you can jump in with any book in any series and not feel lost but you also won’t feel overwhelmed by so much backstory you give up. 

What I Liked Most About the Book: Ummm…all of it! There was angst, an emotional rollercoaster that just wouldn’t quit, and twists and turns that left me wondering if I really knew what I thought I knew. I say this every time I review a Rachel Van Dyken book, but it’s always true: She’s at the top of my favorite authors’ list for a reason. 

NICUnurse’s Rating: It is honestly hard to go wrong with any book by Rachel Van Dyken. Yes, I’m a bit of a rabid fan of her writing, but I’d also be honest if I didn’t think one of her books was up to par. Scandalous Prince was most definitely up to par and then some. It’s angsty, twisty, sexy, and suspense-y, and I couldn’t put it down until it was all said and done. And as always, it left me desperate for more. 

I give Scandalous Prince by Rachel Van Dyken 5 out of 5 propellers!
