Only with You by Lea Coll is LIVE!

The sexy-as-sin contractor and straightlaced attorney are from two different worlds, but can they find common ground with each other in this small-town romance?

Hadley

First I turned down a marriage proposal, then I moved to Annapolis to open a law firm. I thought my world couldn’t change any more…

Until Cade stepped into my office, smelling of sawdust with his company’s T-shirt stretched taut over his chest and biceps. Everything about him was sexy-as-sin and completely off-limits.

But I can’t risk the business I sunk my savings into by dating a client, and he won’t risk his heart.

The more we spend time together, the more I want him. Even if a relationship between us was possible, how can he give me all of him?

Cade

After my wife died, I swore off dating. I threw myself into my charity instead. It was easy at first, but I can’t ignore my attraction anymore.

Hadley comes from a wealthy family that operates with manipulation, lies, and deceit. I don’t fit into her world, but the closer we get, the more I wanted to show her how things could be different.

I never thought I’d meet someone who gave me hope for a future. One full of possibilities, love, and maybe even marriage and kids.

But how can I promise her forever when I know love doesn’t last?

NICUnurse’s Review of Only With You by Lea Coll

Only With You is a new standalone romance and book one in a new series by author Lea Coll. It is a contemporary, second chance romance. Now, it’s not a second chance romance as in the hero and heroine have been in a relationship before. Rather, it’s about each one having a second chance at something real and fulfilling. While there are some sexy times, there was a lot of sweet in the romance too.

What I liked about the book: I loved both Cade and Hadley. They found each other at a time when they were both trying to figure out who they were. Hadley because she is still fairly young and trying to figure out who she really is. And Cade because life threw him a major curveball, and he’s struggling to figure out who he is and what his next steps should be. They lean on each other, but not in a codependent way. There’s a deep friendship that develops along with their relationship that helps each of them open their eyes and move forward in their journeys.

What I didn’t like about the book: Honestly…nothing comes to mind. I enjoy Lea Coll’s writing, I thought she did a great job with introducing us to all the characters we’ll see going forward in the series and building this new world for us, and I liked the way she brought about the plot arcs for both Hadley and Cade.

NICUnurse’s Rating: I would almost call this a coming of age story for Hadley. While she’s slightly older than a traditional coming of age character, she’s been under her dad’s thumb for so long that she has no idea who she is on her own. And Cade is coming out of that kind of grief that is hard to imagine unless you’ve walked that road. I would also say that this is more of a slow build than angsty. But that’s simply my opinion. There are some struggles with both Hadley and Cade but they felt more…not sure the word I want to use here. Maybe like what you’d expect from two people trying to figure out who they are now and how they can fit together. And it didn’t feel like Cade was fitting into Hadley’s world, but rather, she was finding a real home with his, and they were building their life somewhere in the middle. All in all, this was a very easy and enjoyable read, and I’m looking forward to the next books in the series.

I give Only With You by Lea Coll 4 out of 5 propellers!
