Test Drive is up last in the

RoadTripping series!!

Willow Andrew’s life is a hot mess.

Coming from a family of successful professionals, the fact that at twenty-seven she still doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up doesn’t sit well. Desperate not to disappoint her grandmother, she invents a fake boyfriend so Gammy won’t worry so much. It seemed a victimless lie… until Gammy announced that Willow AND her boyfriend needed to be present at her 75th birthday party. Or else. Out of time and options, Willow turns to the sexy bartender she’s been secretly crushing on for help.

Levi Sullivan has his life in order and thrives off helping others.

In fact, he would do anything to help out a friend. But he’s angling for far more than friendship with Willow. Entranced by the clumsy beauty since the first time he watched her trip over nothing, he happily agrees to a chance to spend more time with her. Fake romance or not, he’s determined to use their long-distance road trip to turn a game of pretend into something more.

Warning—the roads ahead will twist and turn with laugh-out loud moments and sizzling chemistry. But traffic should be aware, the journey ahead is far more important than the destination.

Fly Girl’s Review

Sadly this is the last book in Samantha Chase’s Roadtripping series. I really loved this series and would love to see more of Samantha in the romantic comedy category. The laugh out loud funny finally came in this book for me, and all the way through it. From the spill on the sidewalk to the girl gossip party. I loved this one. The other two books had some funny scenes, but I didn’t find the entire book rom com worthy. This one I do though.

Willow and Levi are so in love with one another and can’t see it that it makes for a hilarious trip while they discover how much the other loves them. Before the trip, you can tell from the glances and the way they know where each other is any time they are around makes you wonder why they haven’t hooked up before. I also think her girlfriends had a bit of a plan in mind when they mentioned Willow needing a fake boyfriend for a visit to see her family. It felt kind of like a setup–good one too.

The trip to see her grandmother is eventful, as always in this series (otherwise why call it Roadtripping?). In amongst the events though, they both learn a little about themselves and each other. Willow begins to discover what she really wants to do with her life and Levi sees how many more layers there are to Willow. Levi discovers he is very much a control freak and Willow discovers what a loving man he is.

After some heartache caused by lies…I know you saw that coming, they both realize sometimes love is worth taking a second chance and forgiving the wrongs. We get our HEA in the end. I love that Samantha never makes any of her characters sacrifice anything to be with another person. She just lets them figure out how to be together in spite of the differences. This is what makes the love close to real life. You should never sacrifice something to be with another person. You both should be able to figure out how to make all the pieces fit. This gives you an equal footing and there is never guilt or regret involved.

I’m giving this a 4.5 of 5 because I finally got my Rom Com with an HEA and something that looks like real life love. Overall I loved this series, but I know she was working on Rom Com and I didn’t get it for the whole series. I did get a bunch of great stories though so overall I’d give the entire series a 4 of 5 on my scale. You should check them out for a little different Samantha.

And here’s the rest of the series. Don’t forget to Pre-Order Test Drive coming out June 23rd.
