NICUnurse’s Review of You Belong With Me by Kristen Proby

Kristen Proby wrote a mafia romance book?? Kristen Proby wrote a mafia romance book! Yeah, I had to say it twice because that’s not what we’re used to seeing from her. In fact, it’s something totally new. But holy hotness…did she ever pull it off! This is not your usual With Me in Seattle book, but I promise you are going to want to read this one. And if you are a With Me In Seattle series fan like me, you are DEFINITELY going to want to read this book. And for one reason: Archer Montgomery! I’m pretty sure he’s now my most favorite Montgomery man ever. I mean, the guy never really gave up on his woman, and when he said he’d do anything to keep her, he MEANT it. But that puts us a bit too close to spoiler territory so I’m gonna stop gushing now. I hate spoilers, and I hate to give spoilers. The book is too good to do that to you.

NICUnurse’s Rating: Really, what more can I say? Not much. This book is majorly swoon-worthy. Elena is a sassy, strong, and spunky heroine, don’t get me wrong. But I’m totally head-over-heels for Archer. (I know––you couldn’t tell, right?!) Now, most of you who follow my reviews, or the blog, or any of our social media pages know I’m a huge RVD mafia romance fan. So huge that I have a hard time trying other authors’ mafia romances. (I’m sorry, guys!). That being said, I’ve also been a big Kristen Proby/With Me In Seattle fan for years, so there was no way I wasn’t giving this one a shot. I’m sure you’re shocked to hear me say that it was worth it, right?! Anywho…I totally tip my hat to Kristen Proby for one: trying something new and two: killing it! And now, I’ll not-so-patiently wait for the next With Me In Seattle book and her all-new mafia family book!

About Kristen:

Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years. 

During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
