When RC Boldt says that this book is like nothing she’s ever written, you should believe her! And then you should pick up a copy of it ASAP! Holy thriller, Batman…I was quite literally stunned speechless by the climax of this book. I truly did NOT see that twist coming.
RC Boldt really outdid herself with this romantic suspense book. I’ve always enjoyed her books. But I freaking LOVED this one. It was heartbreaking. Gritty. Raw. Passionate. And challenged my senses of right and wrong, justice and revenge, and damnation and redemption. So many gray areas that really challenged me to look and think outside the box. Heck…I don’t think this one ever jumped IN the box. If I were to give this book a tagline, it would be Revenge, sweet revenge…coming home never felt so badass. Okay. That’s a bit cheesy, but I challenge you to read the book and do me one better. Mmkay?
NICUnurse’s Rating: First of all, I’m not sure I’ve ever loved a book wrap (front and back covers) so much in my life. And after reading the story, it just friggin’ fits so perfectly. If you’re a Hunger Games fan that is let’s say, a bit more mature, you’re going to love this Kat. It’s easy to understand her motivation and her why. What truly broke my heart (for a second time in this story) was Hunter’s why. You think you know him. You think you know why he does what he does. Only to find out, you really don’t. And together, they are proof that two people who think they are broken beyond repair can really heal and be amazing together in their own way. If you’re looking for a rom-com or a light-hearted romance, this book is not for you. But if you’re a sucker for a romantic suspense in which the main characters will constantly challenge you and your views, you need this book in your life and you need it today!
I give Hell Hath No Fury by RC Boldt 5 out of 5 propellers!
