Sky Diva’s Review of When I Found You by K Leah

When I Found You by K. Leah is the second book in the Finding Home series, but you can read it as a stand-alone.  This is my second book by K. Leah, and she doesn’t disappoint!! I love it because I am from Georgia, and I always enjoy reading about places I am familiar with.  If you haven’t tried one of K. Leah’s books then grab this one!  It’s a clean well-written romance, and it has depth to it. The scenes come alive as you’re reading them. There was one scene at the beginning where Leighton’s husband, Avery was killed in a car accident that just broke my heart and made me cry. The way K. Leah described that scene just ripped my heart out for Leighton and Avery. I thought to myself that someone would have to pick me up off the floor because I just couldn’t imagine having to go through that.

This story takes you on this journey of these two young adults, Chase and Cait, who end up finding each other by accident. Chase grew up in South Carolina before moving to Georgia and ended up moving to Atlanta after college. While in college, he made some lifelong friends Leighton and Avery, and the three called themselves the Three Amigos. Cait grew up on a farm in Florida with a big, loving family. She’s moved to Atlanta, but only temporarily. She longs to be back home with her family, but she has a great job, and it pays very well. Hmmm, what will Cait do…?

I love that Chase and Cait have this fun banter from the start, and they carry it on throughout the story. Chase has this swoon-worthy persona. He is such a loving, fun, thoughtful guy. He is always thinking of others and helping out where he can. He is the type of guy many would be fortunate to have. He makes you laugh and seems like this genuine caring guy…am I the only one that thinks how someone treats me makes them better looking or less attractive?? Cait is also this loving, caring daughter who is always there for her family. 

Oh my goodness Chase and Cait take these cooking classes so beware it will make your mouth water! I kept thinking, “That sure sounds good!”
