CAUGHT BY THE CHIEF OF STAFF
Presidential Affair Book 2
By Jennifer Rebecca
Release Day: April 27, 2020
Blurb
Secrets have a funny way of bubbling to the surface when you least expect them to and these are the deepest darkest of all. I buried them in the past with my husband and any hope we had of a happily ever after.
But now he’s back. Only the sweet and funny sailor I married has been replaced with a political mercenary.
Can I trust him with the secrets of our shared past? I guess there’s only one way to find out…

NICUnurse’s Review of Caught by the Chief of Staff by Jennifer Rebecca
If anyone follows the blog and/or my reviews, it’s no secret that I kind of adore Jennifer Rebecca’s style of writing. I love the sarcastic, witty humor. I love the dark, twisty suspense/thriller element in her suspense books (even the lighter suspense books). It’s uniquely her, and it totally fits me as a reader. It may not be your thing (and that’s OK), but I connected with her style right away and wholeheartedly recommend her books to anyone who has similar tastes.
Caught by the Chief of Staff is the second book in Jennifer Rebecca’s Presidential Affair series and absolutely can be read as a stand-alone title. However, being the lover of her written words, I will recommend reading them all in order because I feel you will get a richer experience. But it is not necessary. This is Rick and Cara’s story. For die-hard fans like myself, you’ll love the cameos of beloved characters returning to add to the fun.
NICUnurse’s Rating: For me, it’s hard to not love one of this author’s books. I usually devour them in anywhere from 3-5 hours (depending on the number of interruptions I must endure). And I should know better than to start one at bedtime. Yeah…I didn’t go to sleep before 4 am! Woops! Caught by the Chief of Staff is full of suspense, angst, and sexy times. If those elements (plus a hefty dose of cursing) are not your thing, you won’t care for this book. Otherwise, it’s definitely one you can totally get lost in and forget about the quarantine most of us are still enduring. And if you’re like me and sometimes have had a hard time losing myself in a story, let me reassure you that I had no issues getting lost in this world full of suspense!
I give Caught by the Chief of Staff by Jennifer Rebecca 4.5 out of 5 stars!
About Jennifer Rebecca
Jennifer is a thirty-something lover of words, all words: the written, the spoken, the sung (even poorly), the sweet, the funny, and even the four-letter variety. She is a native of San Diego, California where she grew up reading the Brownings and Rebecca with her mother and Clifford and the Dog who Glowed in the Dark with her dad, much to her mother’s dismay.
Jennifer is a graduate of California State University San Marcos where she studied Criminology and Justice Studies. She is also a member of Alpha Xi Delta.
13 years ago, she was swept off her feet by her very own sailor. Today, they are happily married and the parents of a 10-year-old and 8-year-old twins. She lives in East Texas where she can often be found on the soccer fields, drawing with her children, or reading. Jennifer is convinced that if she puts her Fitbit on one of the dogs, she might finally make her step goals.
She loves a great romance, an alpha hero, and lots and lots of laughter.
