Texting the wrong number never felt so right.wrong number

Blurb:

It started with a not-so-innocent text that I meant to send to the guy I was casually dating. Things were moving slowly, so I decided it was time to spice things up.

Me: I need you to come over. I want to feel you inside me.

Him: Who is this?

Me: Indy. Who’s this?

Him: Wrong number.

Me: Oh crap. I’m sorry.

Him: I’m not. What’s your address?

Now, I have to decide whether I want to block him and text the guy I meant to in the first place. Or do something outrageously bold and tell him to come over.

 Me: . . .

BlueSeal’s Review of Wrong Number by R.L. Kenderson

The writing duo of R. L. Kenderson (Renae and Lara) is quickly becoming a go-to for me!  They specialize in “sometimes contemporary, sometimes paranormal, always steamy” and boy do they deliver with the steamy.  Grab your afternoon cocktail and let’s chat about R. L. Kenderson’s latest standalone – Wrong Number (note: this book is so steamy that you will want a cocktail).

Imagine if you will that you met a guy through a dating app, have gone out a couple of times, and you are ready to exchange numbers.  You need to end your dry spell and want to the next level so you send him a “flirty” text only to find out that he gave you the wrong number.  OMGOODNESS! How mortifying! Right? Except, the guy you texted seems ready to help you end your dry spell and based on the picture he sent, he’s hot.  Maybe he’s not a serial killer. Maybe your dry spell as gone on for a really long time and you’re desperate. Did I mention that he’s hot? May I introduce to you the story of how Indy and Cal met and hooked up?

R. L. Kenderson has written a hilarious story.  I’m not sure if it is supposed to be a romantic comedy but it sure was for me!  It was also a book that I read until 4 AM because I could not put it down. Believe me, I tried to put it down but Indy and Cal would get into something and I never found a good place to stop until the end and even then, I wanted another couple of hundred pages of their adventures.  In case you can’t tell, I loved this book and think that you will too.

My rating for Wrong Number by R. L. Kenderson….5 out of 5 propellors!

About the Author(s)

R.L. Kenderson is two best friends writing under one name.

Renae always loved reading and in third grade wrote her first poem where she learned she might have a knack for this writing thing. Lara remembers sneaking her grandmother’s Harlequin novels when she was probably too young to be reading them, and since then she knew she wanted to write her own.

When they met in college, they bonded over their love of reading and the TV show Charmed. What really spiced up their friendship was when Lara introduced Renae to romance novels. When they discovered their first vampire romance, they knew there would always be a special place in their hearts for paranormal romance. After being unable to find certain storylines and characteristics they wanted to read about in the hundreds of books they consumed, they decided to write their own.

One lives in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and the other in the Kansas City area where they’re a sonographer/stay-at-home mom/wife and pharmacist/mother by day and a sexy author by night. They communicate through phone, email, and a whole lot of messaging.

You can find them at http://www.rlkenderson.com, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, Twitter, and Goodreads. Or you can email them at rlkenderson@rlkenderson.com. They always love hearing from their readers.
