Teach me everything.

My whole life, I’ve been a good girl. I follow rules like nobody’s business. I obey guidelines like I was born to it. Show me a line, and I’ll toe it.

I’m even a twenty-two-year-old virgin. Good is my middle name.

And then, I break one tiny little rule. Miniscule. Inconsequential.

BlueSeal’s Review of The Hookup Equation by Roxie Noir

Roxie Noir has released the fourth book in her popular series – The Loveless Brothers.  Each of the books is a standalone so you can pick up at any point. I started the series by reading book three, Break the Rules, which was the story of Levi (my favorite bearded boyfriend) and June.  Grab your coffee and let’s chat about The Hookup Equation.

 

Thalia and Caleb experienced a textbook meet cute and their first date was perfect.  They shared a kiss that caused major fireworks! Only to find that Caleb is Dr. Loveless Thalia’s Calculus Professor.  What a freaking let down. He cannot date a student or his new career will be over before it starts. Thalia cannot date a professor or she will lose her scholarship with one semester left.  So why can’t they just walk away? Chemistry.

 

I am not a huge fan of student/professor romances but Roxie did a great job approaching this storyline.  Like all of her books, the character development is superb and you will laugh more than you will cry. The Hookup Equation actually made me mad a few times as the characters needed a swat to the back of the head or a kick in the butt.   

My rating of The Hookup Equation by Roxie Noir – 4 out of 5 propellers.
