NICUnurse’s Review of I Knead You Tonight by Teagan Hunter
I kind of adore Teagan Hunter’s brand of humor. So if you like romcoms with a heavy dose of angst and some great puns and one-liners, I think you will love I Knead You Tonight. It is the second book in her Slice series but it absolutely can be read as a standalone book. I haven’t read book 1 yet (I will be soon, though!) and had no problems keeping characters and storylines straight.
Speaking of characters…Drew and Winston had me going between wanting to just give each of them a huge hug and giving them each a good smack to the back of the head Jethro Gibbs style. They are both such stubborn characters you kind of both love and hate them all at the same time. I kept wanting to scream, “Just talk to each other, dang it!” at them. (Did I mention a heavy dose of angst in this story?! Oh good…)
NICUnurse’s Rating: I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor and tend to gravitate toward authors who write with the same type of humor. Teagan Hunter never really disappoints. I love her quirky humor even when it’s paired with some angst or even some heavy angst. This book kept me turning page after page and not wanting to put it down until I knew for sure whether these two amazingly stubborn characters were able to get over themselves and find their HEA.
I give I Knead You Tonight by Teagan Hunter 4 out of 5 propellers! Seriously… grab it up now and take a big ‘ol bite!
