In It To Win It by Kelly Jamieson is available now!
“Kelly Jamieson is an auto-buy for me.”—Carly Phillips
Wynn family bonds bend but never break. . . .
JP Wynn:
I admit, I’ve made some bad choices—on and off the ice.
Now all I want to do is show my team I can control my emotions while I’m playing and redeem myself with my family, especially with my brother, Théo.
I hate that I hurt him and I’m determined to stay out of trouble.
But the hot bridesmaid at Théo’s wedding is tempting me into another bad decision.
A little flirting and a hook up with Taylor seem harmless . . . until Manny Martinez jumps me on the dance floor and starts beating the crap out of me.
And just like that I add one more bad decision to my résumé.

Taylor Hart:

I always thought hockey players were hot. Now I think they’re crazy.
Manny broke my heart when he got traded to another team and left without even a goodbye.
Then he showed up at my best friend’s wedding. All I wanted to do was show Manny that I was over him.
And the groom’s sexy brother, JP, seemed more than willing to be my distraction.
But after the way everything went down, I want nothing to do with any of them.
Easier said than done. Especially when Lacey’s new brother-in-law is always around. . . .
And I keep thinking about the wedding night, when we snuck away to his room for the best sex of my life.

BlueSeal’s Review of In It To Win It

Kelly Jamieson broke my heart when she decided to end the Aces Hockey Series but she glued the pieces back together with the Wynn Hockey Series.  In It To Win It is the second book in the Wynn Hockey Series and let me tell you….my heart has healed! Thank Kelly! It is hot outside go grab a cold lemonade and let’s chat about this HOT book…In It To Win It!

First, let’s talk about this cover!  It is smoking HOT but the bad thing is that I’m not certain that I can find a real hockey player who looks like this!  I mean, have you seen them? They appear to be barely in their 20’s and well, I will keep looking and dreaming.

Jean Paul (JP) is the son of Matthew Wynn (owner of the Long Beach Golden Eagles) and the grandson of Bob Wynn (owner of the California Condors).  He currently plays for the Long Beach Golden Eagles who is coached by his uncle Mark Wynn. Easy, right? I had a hard time keeping up but Kelly was nice enough to outline The Wynn Dynasty at the beginning of the book so that people like me, with deficits in short term memory, could keep up.  Where was I? Oh, JP’s family is full of drama and JP tends to be right in the middle of his own drama but he is determined to fix that beginning at his brother’s wedding. It was at the wedding that he met a beautiful Speech Language Pathologist (what??? That’s me!! I am a SLP!) named Taylor who is smart, sweet, and genuine or so the thought.

Why is it that the one Wynn that Taylor is supposed to hate is the one she is ready to lose her panties over?  Why is he so sweet and supportive when her world falls apart? Why does her dog have to love him? JP Wynn is not what people think.  He is so much more but can Taylor make JP believe that?

Number 1 – Kelly Jamieson has written a book where the main female is a Speech Langauge Pathologist!! Number 2 – She has done her research and actually knows that SLPs do!  Extra points and kudos for those 2! Seriously, I can’t say enough about this book or this series. Kelly’s characters are never just surface level. They are deeply flawed individuals who are looking for healing.  My rating for Kelly Jamieson’s In It To Win It….5 out of 5 propellers.
