Ask Me Anything by Molly E. Lee

I should’ve kept my mouth shut.

But Wilmont Academy’s been living in the Dark Ages when it comes to sex ed, and someone had to take matters into her own hands. Well, I’m a kick-ass coder, so I created a totally anonymous, totally untraceable blog where teens can come to get real, honest, nothing-is-off-limits sex advice.

And holy hell, the site went viral – and we’re talking way beyond Wilmont – overnight. Who knew this town was so hard up?

Except now the school administration is trying to shut me down, and they’ve forced Dean – my coding crush, aka the hottest guy in school – to try to uncover who I am. If he discovers my secret, I’ll lose him forever. And thousands of teens who need real advice won’t have anyone to turn to.

Ask me anything…except how to make things right.

“Edgy and smart with a sweet and sexy core.” Rachel Harris, New York Times bestselling author of Eyes on Me

NICUnurse’s Review of Ask Me Anything by Molly E. Lee

Ask Me Anything is Molly E. Lee’s new teen/YA (young adult) novel that I fell completely in love with. I used to say that I wasn’t a huge teen/YA fan. I’m still not a huge teen/YA fan in general, but when it comes to this author’s words, I AM a huge fan, whether it’s teen/YA or not. Molly has an amazing talent for writing adventurous characters who take you on wonderful journeys throughout the story. Her Love on the Edge series hooked me on her writing style, and I haven’t looked back since. (Seriously…go check that one out, too!) Even her teen/YA characters are full of depth and are not what we’d consider “typical” teenagers of today. And Amber and Dean are no different. Dean is the guy we all wanted our high school boyfriends to be. He’s smart, kind, popular, good-looking, and just an all around great guy. He has goals and dreams he’s not afraid to work hard to make a reality. And Amber is smart, sassy, beautiful, and strong, even when she doesn’t think she’s strong. Both of them are computer coders (and how about that cover, guys? Isn’t it amazingly beautiful??!!), and together the could literally rule the world one day. Thankfully, their moral compasses are pointed in the right directions.

I loved everything about this story. The messages woven throughout the pages, how both Dean and Amber are fighting for the greater good, and how good they are together. And the details of the blog posts on the pages, to include ones on simulated phone screens, were a very, very cool (and very well done) touch.

NICUnurse’s Rating: I would love to go on and on about this story. And I absolutely could fill up a ton more space with my words about how much I loved this story, but I hate giving spoilers. This story is just too good to spoil! Even if you are like me and aren’t a huge teen/YA fan, this book is the one that might change your mind! It pretty much solidified my love of Molly E. Lee’s words, and I give it an enthusiastic 5 out of  5 propellers!
