Dark Alpha's HungerThe next installment of the Reaper series.

Dark Alpha’s Hunger is the sixth paranormal romance novel in New York Times bestselling author Donna Grant’s Reapers series featuring a brotherhood of elite assassins who wage war on the Fae at Death’s behest–and the women who change their hearts.

There is no escaping a Reaper. I am an elite assassin, part of a brotherhood that only answers to Death. And when Death says your time is up, I’m coming for you…

Where Death leads, I follow. Nothing will stop me from my duty – not even the darkness that claims me. It’s the music that leads me from the dark, returning me to my brethren and a new foe that has risen. Learning who hunts Thea could be the key to unraveling what we need to know to defeat our enemy. The Half-Fae’s music stirs a passion within me that I’ve never known. For her, I will break my vow of silence. For her…I will risk everything.

Fly Girl’s Review:

Over the last couple of years I’ve reviewed a lot of Donna Grant’s work.  I’m always surprised by how she keeps all of her characters straight gives each book a unique story line, but somehow manages to tie a bunch of other series in.  It boggles my mind.  This book is no different in that department.  If you’ve read any of the Dark Kings, Reapers or  Dark Warriors series then you will find this book awesome.  It is a continuation of these series but based in the Reapers circle of fae.  All of the other stories get a little bit of the plot in this one.

Thea and Eoghan are meant for each other right from the start.  It just takes Eoghan a few minutes to figure it out and open himself to the love that is waiting for him.   Their challenge is actually Thea’s xxx (oops almost gave a spoiler).  The newest team of Reapers begins their journey as a team in this one and prove their loyalty to their leader Eoghan while Death finds the courage to fight once more against Bran.  We don’t see much of the Dragon Kings in this one, but more of the characters associated with them are described and their alliances are developed more.

If you are new to Donna Grant, I would recommend to read a few of her other novels in this series prior to this one, maybe a first in the series, and maybe 4 or 5 of the Reapers before this one.  It will help everything make sense.  I’ve read several of the Dark Kings series and this helped fill in a lot of holes for me.  I’m giving this 4.5 because it has a little cliff hanger for the story line, not Thea and Eoghan’s romance, and you all know how I hate them.  So if you’re new, you might want a sprinkle of catch up before this one, if you are a well read Donna Grant fan, you’ll find this one delectable as all of hers usually are.
