Who is BlueSeal? I am a Georgia girl who met her husband, and best friend, at the age of 19. We have two handsome sons who keep our Friday nights busy with marching band, and Saturdays busy with soccer games. Not to mention all of the practices during the week to get ready for the weekends. My HOT husband is a retired bad-A cop who currently works for a company, teaching cops. With the gray hair, glasses, and busy teaching schedule, he’s now my HOT professor. He gets to travel to pretty cool places, and I’m so jealous that my full-time job and the boys keep me home. I dream of retiring and traveling with him. I love my family, friends, UGA football, traveling, cooking, and READING! There’s no better way to relax at the end of a long day than to escape with a cup of coffee (if the day was really long then substitute red wine for coffee), a soft blanket, and a good book.

I’ll share a slightly embarrassing, yet funny story about my addiction to reading. My oldest wrote a short story about a trip to the beach and described me as “lazy” because I sat in my chair reading all day. Well, of course I did! What else are you supposed to do at the beach? As a child, we could not afford to travel, so I explored through books. I checked out the maximum limit at the public library every single week because my mom refused to go more than once a week. Since I grew up in the 80’s, my favorite children’s book authors were Laura Ingles Wilder, Judy Blume, Louisa May Alcott, Tasha Tudor, and Beverly Cleary. But my all-time favorite book is Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte. As a matter of fact, it was the very first book that I downloaded on my e-reader. Speaking of my e-reader, it consists of every genre, but mostly romance, mysteries, suspense, and thrillers. If an author can combine all four genres in one book then I’m hooked… especially if there’s a HOT cop involved!

Right now, I am really enjoying the following authors: Bella Andre, Melody Anne, Rachel Grant, Sharon Hamilton, Elle James, and Olivia James. There are many more on my e-reader, and I look forward to exploring new authors! Writing book reviews is new for me. My friends and I recommend and share books all of the time, but I’ve never written reviews, and I’m a little nervous.
