About GLAM SQUAD & GROOMSMEN
Dressing up as a bride once a week is all fun and games until you come face to face with your ex.
Penny Blake loves her job with Enchanted Bridal. She gets to model wedding gowns and help brides plan for their big day. And yet…she’s wanting a little more. Besides wishing for her own happily ever after, she has big dreams of making her own contribution to the business in the form of her own glam squad. Her bosses all think it’s a great idea, but right now she’s needed in other ways – like helping out with the groomsmen.
Was there any greater form of torture than having to help your sister plan her wedding?
That’s what Spencer Buchanan is facing and although he goes into it with a bit of an attitude, running into the girl who got away – three times! – suddenly made this whole wedding planning thing a lot more bearable. Moving back home was never part of his plan, but once Spencer sees Penny again, all bets are off. And having her help him with his fittings on his tux turn into his favorite pastime ever!

Fly Girl’s Review:
Ok, so this is the second book by Samantha I’ve read. The first one was from her Band on the Run Series. I wasn’t sure if the first book was a fluke or if she would fulfill my HEA obsession with no cliffhangers. Well I have to say, she is definitely a winner in my book for satisfying both quirks for me. Penny and Spencer’s story is so awesome. Even though this is part of her Enchanted Brides series it can definitely be read as a stand alone.
To go from saying “I Do” at eight to an official “I will” is somewhat amazing in this day and age, but these two do it. Their journey is warm and encouraging throughout their unusual courtship. They both stick with it through the years because they love the other person. Not realizing they love each other is the hardest part of their story. They act like partners from the first of the story as they don’t take each other’s dreams for granted and don’t down play them. They both are willing to make sacrifices for each other to realize their dream, yah it doesn’t look like it sometimes, but in the end they both come around. They also show us what a long distance relationship looks like and how tough it is.
From a personal perspective, my husband moved from the East coast to the West coast just to be with me, not even knowing if it was forever. That was such an emotional thing for me to realize his sacrifice for a chance at us. I’ll always love him for that and this story just affirms there are others out there that think that way too. So Samantha, thanks for that reflection. You show us that relationships take work and supporting each other even when it’s tough and may contradict things we feel are important that it’s still the right thing to do, and makes the relationship stronger.
Samantha, I am in love, to say the least, with your writing style. You use simple eloquent prose with humor and passion. You make the process of writing look effortless. This goes for your support team as well. No author does these things on their own and your support team really scores big. I certainly look forward to the next book you release. And of course this is a 5 of 5 propellers for me.
