ABOUT JAX
Seven is an enigma. A motorcycle club princess. The daughter of a notorious gangster. The best friend of the deputy mayor. A coffee shop owner. The single mom of two young, adopted children. She’s colorful, in every way possible—from her attitude to her piercings and bright pink hair—and she’s a woman on a mission with the power to help broker a clean break between a powerful motorcycle club and a South American drug cartel. But not all players are ready for the game to change, including the ones she can’t see like the CIA.
Jax Michaelson has a bad attitude and a good shot. The former Navy SEAL has been on Titan’s problem list for running his mouth since the day he showed up for work, but he does a hell of a job, and they’d never let him go. Call him cocky, that’s fine, because then you’d have to admit he’s the best at anything and everything—except diplomacy.
When Titan is forced into the seedy drug world filled with cartel glitz and Harley-riding MCs, Seven and her family become an unexpected bargaining chip right after she and Jax find a way to stand each other—in bed.
Will friends become lovers? Or are they too far gone to be opposites that attract? Is Jax nothing but a bad boy who leaves her hoping for a military hero when the burden of living as Mayhem royalty backfires and her children disappear.
JAX is a standalone romantic suspense novel by New York Times bestselling author Cristin Harber. It features characters from the Titan, Delta, and Only series, but readers do not have to have read those books to enjoy this one. There’s a guaranteed happily ever after and no cliffhanger! Enjoy!

*******************NICUnurse’s Review of Jax by Cristin Harber********************
There’s nothing new about me reviewing a Titan novel. It’s been one of my favorite series for military romance for quite a while. Each book gets better and better, and this is especially true with Jax. To be honest, I didn’t think I was going to like Jax (the character, not the book!) AT. ALL. In all the other books he’s in, he’s such a jerk face that I was hesitant to even read this one. SO glad I jumped in anyway!
This book has the continuation and conclusion to the drug cartel drama we saw in Delta Redemption. So you really will understand the story better if you read that book first. But again, it’s technically a stand-alone book. But we first meet Seven in Delta Redemption, so I, again, highly recommend reading it first.
I think Jax is THE most misunderstood guy at Titan. No one seems to really like him, or trust him, and he can’t figure out why. As the reader, we see and understand why all the other Titan crew feels this way. But it’s all based on lies and deception, and you just want to yell at them to just stop the madness, including yelling this at Boss Man! Despite her outward appearance, Seven is pretty straight-laced, even if she has ties to an MC. She’s got hot pink hair and is covered in piercings. But she’s so much more than that. She’s responsible, caring, loving and loyal, even when people don’t deserve her love and loyalty. When you find out more about who these two characters are, they just fit together as a couple. Of all the guys at Titan, I would have never believed Jax would have turned out to be the guy he truly is….a trustworthy, honest, hardworking, likable guy. And he’s the one person who really believes in and supports Seven, besides her close friends in Idaho. Of course, this story also has mystery, suspense, and a rescue that involves all the men of Titan (and lots of things going boom!)
I know I’ve said it before, and I usually mean it at the time, but this book… this book truly is, by far, my favorite of all of the series. The main characters had so much more depth to them than you initially thought. The suspense was there from the beginning, so it pulled me in and kept me intrigued from the start. And even if part of the plot was predictable, it wasn’t all that way. So I’m giving it a solid 4.75 propellers, only because there was one plot twist that I saw coming from almost the beginning that took the suspense away in that one area. Despite that, it was still a page turner and didn’t seem to stall or drag in the storyline at all. All in all, Jax is a fabulous book and one I highly recommend, especially if you are already a Titan fan, like me!
