So I finished reading Vicious Grace and I really enjoyed it. It didn’t turn out the way I expected it to but that’s never a bad thing. It’s good when authors change things up and M.L.N. Hanover did in this one. The second book was a like a lot of second book it didn’t fall flat but it wasn’t book one or this third book. I can’t wait to see what happens in book four if he comes out with one and I hope he does. So much changed. Characters grew up and moved on and we found out things that changed the way we looked at what was going on. I’d do a true review but I’d suck at it and give so much away 😉 but if you’ve read any of the other books and haven’t picked this one up yet its a must it’s going to rock the world you thought it was going. It posses questions on Uncle Eric, good or Evil? Aubrey and the Ex wife? what Ex believes in? and best of all what makes Jayne so powerful? Some of the questions are answered but not completely. It leaves you wondering heck it leaves the characters wondering. It’s a must read.

Many of my friends (and you know who you are) have told me to read Chloe Neill’s Chicagoland Vampire Series. Well I haven’t been reading it but I did start listening to it. I finished Some Girls Bite it was good and I’m now on Friday Night Bites which is book two. At first I didn’t think I was going to like the series. I’ve been getting tired of all the vampire books out there lately. If you look at my Author I Enjoy page I don’t have a lot of vampire books on there. I have a few but most of them have other main characters with vamps are secondary ones. I’ve just been growing somewhat bored with all the vamps but with that said this series has really grabbed my attention and got me liking the ride. I’m pleased. It did start out a little winy but Mer has gotten over that and lets face it who wouldn’t bitch if they got changed without consent. Anyway as the book goes on and as she grows into her role and we see her get comfortable it really becomes a coming into oneself book and when life makes changes you have to role with it. It’s something I understand completely being a military spouse and never knowing whats going to happen you have to go with the flow. So if you’ve been like me and sick of vamp books lately I’d say give this one a try, so far its been really good.

And last but not least the new Kim Harrison came out yesterday Pale Demon I’ve read the first three chapters that Kim has up on her website, and as always I’ve loved them. I have it on the kindle and my ipod. Yes I will read it and listen to it… I’m that much of a freak for the Rachel Morgan/The Hollows Series, granted it helps that I was born in Cinny and can picture the downtown when she talks about it like I’m there. Come to think of it I was at Christmas. 🙂 Anyway Kim is always a must read Rachel is always in some kind of witchy trouble and I know the handsome Trent is in the book maybe Kim will hook them up finally or maybe not. She may make us stew.

As for normal day to day stuff I hope you guys are having wonderful Wicked Cool ones, I’ll chat with you soon.
