Today like yesterday is gorgeous. The only problem the back of my head hurts. I think it might be my sinuses, I say this because Flyboy has had me take over the counter migraine and sinus meds and the headache goes away with both. Then I start sneezing and get a running nose. Whatever is going on its driving me nuts. I’m trying to work but can’t concentrate on what I need to do.I’ve looked at one sentence five times and I know it needs work but the changes aren’t flowing like they normally do. It’s not writers block I’ve changed a few things surrounding the sentence I’m working with I just can fix this one. The harder I think about it the more the back on my head hurts and then I don’t want to work at all, it really sucks.
On another note Flyboy is out visiting our family on the West Coast, and I keep getting pictures of the nieces and nephew that are out there. I really miss them. Flyboy’s brother is getting married to a wickedly awesome chick. I say this because she treats our nephew, her soon to be step-son, as her own. Having come from a broken home, and getting two step-parents in the process, I know how lucky my nephew is to have a step-parent that loves them and treats them as their own. I was luck both of my step-parents treated me as their children too. Many kids don’t get that. So I want to say to my new outlaw, (that’s what those of us who have married into Flyboy’s family call ourselves) welcome to the club/family.

Sorry its been a few weeks since my last post. Its been nuts around here. Flyboy came home the first weekend in Nov from his four month deployment. A week after Flyboy’s arrival we headed up to Gatlinburg for a relaxing long weekend. I’ll post so picks this week.
As for my writing I had to work on 50 pages for the editor I’m working with and the night before Flyboy arrived I finished those pages. I started working on the next chapter on the drive up and back. I just finished those last night so I now have to type them in. I’m not liking all the trees I’m killing but I am finding where changes need to be made for the new POV change.

So yesterday I had surgery and had to spend the night in the hospital. Everything went well and I was released earlier today. While there I was able to work on my review of Shadow of Night the next installment in Deborah Harkness All Souls Trilogy. Tonight I finished my review, I just need to type it up. So be on the look out.
Tomorrow check out Paperback Dolls for my latest article, I’ll also post it as well. I’m hoping Flyboy will take me to see Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter so that I can write a review of the movie to go with the book review. Plus the Dolls are up for putting both reviews together, so cross your fingers that I’m feeling up for it.
Not much else going on, but I’ll keep you posted.

With Flyboy & my anniversary tomorrow, I decided to get creative & crafty today. This was a lot of fun and I did switch things up a few times. By the end I used all the letters with Flyboy’s help. Now that we are back from our Texas trip, I’ll start writing on the blogs, book reviews, article and edits. I had thought I’d get work done while we were home but that didn’t happen. We got home late Thursday early Friday. Friday was filled with military things and whatnot. Today was our breather from a cram packed week.

Wednesday I got very little done. I couldn’t drag myself away from a book I was reading. However the book did give me some ideas on One of the Boy so I guess it paid off. Thursday I subbed again and that night I went with Flyboy, and some friend to see the Riverdogs play. Thankfully they pulled it out in the end. Friday I was suppose to sub too, but since Wednesday I hadn’t been feeling well so I headed off to see the Wizard. He gave me meds and afterward I drove over to Starbucks for a Chai, and worked on some of the ideas I had for One of the Boys.
Yesterday Flyboy and I did some errands, and we picked up two more plants for the front flower beds. One is a creeping rose plant and the other a red honeysuckle. I can’t wait to try it. I’ve been wanting a honeysuckle for awhile. It reminds me of when I was young and sucked the honey out of the flowers. This was back in Cincy at the house my Mom grew up in and me for a few years. We had four vines if I remember right and they were white. It rained last night so I won’t be planting today but hopefully this week. Flyboy is also adding the stones around my flower bed so I’m excited. When everything is finished I’ll add pictures.
Today over on soundcloud I found the perfect song for Legacy I’ve asked the creator if I can share it with you guys, if he says yes I’ll post it. Of course you can always go on to my twitter page and click on the link. I’m so excite about that too. Since it’s raining today I’m going to try and get some work done on my edits that I have on paper. I’ll try to keep you guys posted more this week.

Sorry you guys haven’t heard much from me as of late, but being a sub is tiring. Thursday I wore heels, big mistake. Friday I subbed in a 7th grade science class they wore me out. Friday night my step-dad came into town. He landed late so I didn’t get to bed when I should have. Saturday was a shopping day my dad wanted to buy Flyboy and my Christmas present and my birthday presents. I got shoes, 
ones that I can wear while teaching, flats. That night we went out for Sushi for bday dinner. Sunday we took Dad down too Hominy Grill to have brunch. Everything was awesome as normal. Then Dad went to the airport and Flyboy and I headed home to sleep. We went out shopping too but this time for the house and to pick up dinner. During dinner Dad came back. Monday I stayed home but Flyboy and I went shopping for clothes that I can wear to work in. Most of my shirts are t-shirts or dress shirts so I needed something in the middle. And of course yesterday I subbed again.
