About Me

Teresa Crumpton grew up in Cincinnati and Dallas/Ft. Worth, making her a hybrid midwest and southern girl. She has five siblings, which always makes for a boisterous Christmas as she travels. She started writing when she was young, never thinking one day she’d turn her passion into a career. Thanks to an interest in the law, she has three degrees and a paralegal certificate. In addition to writing, she travels around the world on adventures with her military Flyboy hubby.

Teresa Crumpton writes dark paranormal thrillers along with poetry, non-fiction and short stories – urban fantasies. She’s been writing since she was a kid but never thought about being a writer until now. She started writing her novel Legacy in eight-grade though it’s changed over the years. Teresa’s first novel Legacy has 269 pages and is a haunting ghost story with a little rumored family history within the pages.

Teresa obtained her first degree in Government with Emphasis in legal Studies Major with a minor in English from TWU in 2001. Later that year she returned to school to receive a paralegal certificate from Southeastern Paralegal Institute. She also started working for her Mentor at that time. In 2002, the man of Teresa’s dreams came back into her life and in 2004 she married him. After marrying her Flyboy husband, he’s a loadmaster in the USAF, she went back to school for a second degree in English Lit in hopes to get into law school. As they have had moved around the country her dreams have changed and her writing became her passion more than the law did and she once again went back to school this time obtaining a Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing.
