So I picked up some resources/ research for Legacy. The book however is not a book, its a hidey whole.

Great inspiration lately, as long as the pups stop speaking at them, the pond has been filled with ducks & geese. Thankfully they no longer walk through my yard but are still able to be seen.

Iced Hot Chocolate

image

The other day I got out my good hot chocolate mix, but I wasn’t in the mood for something hot so I made hot chocolate and put ice in it. It wasn’t bad but it needs something. We’ll see what happens next time.

Stormy day in wonderland

Yep we have rain yet again and it doesn’t look like it will be ending anytime soon. Not that I’m complaining since everyone else is pretty much in a drought. My only issue is that every time the weather changes my head starts to ache. Today I’m not going to let that stop me (hopefully). I’m going to write. My system is finally getting back to normal since surgery and I’m hopeful that after next week I’ll be able to help it along even more. I say this because I never realized what physical activity did for your body. Granted normally after I workout I’m beat so having six weeks without being able to do any physical activity sounded like a blessing. Wrong. I haven’t felt like myself and there haven’t been that many days that I feel motivated to do mush of anything. On the days were we haven’t had rain and the humidity hasn’t been bad I’ve wanted to take my paddle board out but I can’t lift anything over 15lbs so that’s been out of the question. It’s only been in the last two and a half weeks that I’ve even made it out of the house to visit with friends. I’ve never had a surgery take this much out of me. When you add in the humidity I’m done for. The heat doesn’t bother me, I mean Dallas has heat in the summer, but the humidity that’s a different story. Last summer was worst then this one but it doesn’t help my head any. There are days I wish we were still stationed in Hawaii, at least there we didn’t get humidity and I could go play. Which is why I don’t think I’ve gotten much done lately. I have so much energy that needs to get out but I can’t do anything to release it. I hopeful that after the 1st that will be a thing of the past. I’ll be able to put my thoughts down on paper, right now when I have them I let them stew, and I’ll be on my way.

Wish me luck.
