Editing Legacy

I love waking in the middle of the night because I have edits running through my head. Yes I had to get up in the middle of the night to write down edits so I wouldn’t forget them. I so love when my writing thoughts interrupt my sleep. Last night wasn’t the first time and I’m sure it won’t be the last. And now you know why my tagline is an author’s dreams take flight, because my dreams get invaded by my writing. lol

Workshops

On my last day of workshops. After four days of thirteen workshops my head is swimming but I got some great information and help. I love the help I get in the workshops at SavvyAuthors.com

Settling In

As you can see WCF is starting to take on a new shape. There are still a few things I want to add but for the most part the major changes are complete (I think). I may have to see if Kitt can help with a few small things. But over all I’m happy with where things are. I so wish I would have known about wordpress before blogger my whole promotion would be different. WordPress would of had all the business, yes when time comes for me to renew the website I’ll be moving it. I’m not to happy with the host but you live and learn.

Friday wrap-up (and thank you!) (via Kim Harrison's Drama)

I bought Blood Work yesterday, can’t wait to read it.

Friday wrap-up (and thank you!) Yesterday I got some links to an interview and some reviews revolving around Blood Work, and I want to pass them on to you.  Along with them, I want to pass on my heartfelt thanks to all of you who have gone out to find BLOOD WORK.  As I mentioned when it came out, it hit the number one spot on the NY Times Best Seller list for hardcover graphic novels.  It dropped that second week, and I thought we were moving off, but I found out that it's back … Read More

Workshops

Tomorrow starts my mini workshops and I have not 10 but 13 yeah so I went a little crazy. But hey they are free and you can’t pass up free workshops. ;) so you I’ll be busy for the next few days. They all end on the 28th. If I get anything interesting I’ll share tid-bits that I can.

Also news I’ll be doing some volunteering over at Savvy Authors, I’ve gotten so much out of the workshops that I want to give back so you’ll see more about them in post too.

FYI as some of you know I now live in Charleston and there is a Hurricane Irene could be headed this way if something happens I’ll keep you posted, but right now all is well with Flyboy, the pups, Isaac and my self.
